I feel much calmer as Pachelbel’s Canon in D makes its way into my ears.

After another hectic week, no, I am not dead yet, almost though.

Had been rather busy lately (yes, I still remember that I wanted to blog about last the two days of my HK trip)…plus I have not the slightest idea why the headache keeps on greeting me always….like I am having it even right now?

Sigh, sign of aging perhaps, not even 1/4 of a century old man…FAIL

Got them when I tripped & fell during one of my jogging days ..such a Miss Whoops I am lately!
*grins*

For sure, the wound still hurts … have to resort to skirts (can you imagine me wearing one?) else the-not-so-friendly friction caused from rubbing against my pants hurts big time
*teary eyes*

On another note, lectures have been driving me up the wall too, with equations and formulas again . My life in SG is not that happening yet because
1) Daily night lectures
2) Allowance is not IN yet lar (yes, I am granted a small amount from the scholarship to survive (else I’d gotta graze on grass) – will blog about it later)
3) Moving around with the superbly efficient public transportation makes me feel awkard ..Ah, I guess I am just another pampered Malaysian who is used to driving
4) Headaches & constipation …probably still adapting to the new environment

Gee, my Milo (source of cocoa) is finishing ; am contemplating if I should get the Australian’s recipe next which is like $3 more expensive?
Meanwhile, please reassure me that the coming week will turn out just fine, anyone cares to give me a bear hug now?

After a week’s hunt & wait (a lot of patience needed)…finally with the help of a gentleman, WC , I finally proclaimed freedom to my long torture awaited broadband to myself !
Not forgetting my housemate YB who is so gracious to share with me her not-so-stable 2Mbps line (perhaps it was the wifi) meanwhile! NTU’s wifi connection is superb but it would be another torture for me to carry my laptop (of which I just realised that it is rather heavy) to Uni everyday?!

Actually there is another person in SG who had helped me MOST, from helping me to hunt for a room to helping me pay 1.5 months rent (all these was when I was still in the jungle) and later meeting me up @ Uni when I was there for registration to check out if I am ‘OK’…oh, I am so grateful that God sent an angel name Eunice to lend me a hand when I was 100% crippled at that time. Words cannot express my gratitude for all the kind souls that God has provided along the journey of my life

Well, the list goes on and on and on…of course if I wanna go further I’d have to thank so many more people back in Msia who had extended their hands esp the one who is pampering me most right now? LOL

Anyway, back to the story, I was scouting for a few plans from SingTel, Starhub & M1 and I finally resorted to this. Yes, it is pretty obvious that the gadget is FAT right? And so great now that I’d have to get a USB extender because my mouse’s USB head can’t fit into the adjacent port…and to make things worse, my laptop has only 2 miserable USB ports

In Sg, it is indeed a torture not having access to information aka internet. And to make things worse, students like me who wish to apply have to undergo several procedures eg
1) payment of $200 for deposit
2) A student pass is needed for application (I will only get mine in 3 weeks time)
3) Not all outlets process #1 & #2 above…so you’d need to travel to one which does if you really want one!

Ah, am I not glad that my worry is now over, all thanks to a gentleman; WC who has been so helpful
P/S : I owe you one yeah…wait till my allowance masuk dulu ah

Goodness, I owe so many people a meal…eg Eunice, wanted to treat her but my allowance’s not in yet, and just yesterday, she said she’d give me a treat after her presentations..goodness, all my makan-hutang treats are gonna be so ‘overdrafted’…

Will blog more when I have time..these days very busy ok..with subjects registration/books hunting etc and appointment with lecturers to discuss my thesis (Seriously, I am SooO stupid la — why am I torturing myself with thesis again??) OH! And meeting up friends LOL!

and I think I’m gonna be broke soon ..

After 3 days in a place I call a foreign country, here I am, adjusting and blending to their culture, just like the saying goes, When you are in Rome, do what Romans do !

Trust me, I am not enjoying the transitions, the hunt for a new hp line, internet (all the hassles), place (you gotta learn the ins and outs) ..thus I was down with a bad headache not to mention the body aches from all the moving and packings ..it is just different, of which back at home, you have your OWN car, own piece of property and not to mention , the familiarity of places.

Right here, with no internet access for the time being is equivalent to me loosing my right leg ; no-it is different from the jungle, you do not need internet in the jungle, but here in this high tech city, it is crucial to be updated always ; take my Uni itself , NTU is tooOOOo high tech that if I were to compare to my previous uni, I have to give a total 50 years gap *ops*

My shoulders still ache, my head still makes me scream once in awhile, and the best part is, I am now super constipated. Great.

Wish me luck in my blending , oh yes, I have to extend my greatest appreciation to folks who are extremely kind to lend me a hand when I need someone most.
